Welcome
Community Learning Champions (CLCs) are people who are active in their community promoting the value of learning to others – friends, relatives, neighbours, workmates or people they meet at the school gates, at the local shops, or in groups or clubs.
Here you can learn how Community Learning Champions can make a real difference to their own lives, those of the people they support and the communities in which they are working. You will be able to find out how to run a CLC scheme or become a CLC and much more.

This website is one outcome of the national support programme which the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) has funded to support the development of Community Learning Champions. It provides a wealth of information including toolkits for scheme managers and CLCs, resource materials, information about projects and their activities, videos, news stories, case studies, promotional materials, information about regional networks and a forum for you to take part in discussion with others. Please use the links to the left to navigate around the website.
Some of the content on this website has been supplied by projects and third parties. Views or opinions are not necessarily those of the Community Learning Champions programme or the consortium leading the programme.
